How to activate a Steam key
Before buying, check the platform, region, duration and delivery method.
The region must match your Steam account’s store region. DLC requires the base game.
For a Steam key: sign in to the intended account in the official client, open Games → Activate a Product on Steam and follow the prompts. Enter the key without extra spaces, check the product name and find it in your Library after activation. If activation fails, save the error text and contact support. Do not publish the full key.
